Associate Professor Medicine (Hematology and Oncology)

Dr. Sung is a medical oncologist and hematologist who specializes in the medical management of gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancers.
He is interested in developing new treatment modalities and drugs, and he has recently completed a Phase II clinical trial of atiprimod for neuroendocrine cancers. Dr. Sung attended Harvard University (B.A.) and Albert Einstein College of Medicine (M.D.). He obtained his internship, residency and Hematology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. He obtained fellowship in Medical Oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
