Assistant Professor Medicine, Cardiology

Dr. Ghodsi is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Cardiology. She attended the University of Iowa (B.A. Biochemistry) and Claude Bernard University (MS Cardiovascular Pharmacology) in Lyon, France. Subsequently, she obtained her medical degree at the University of Iowa where she also completed her residency. She then joined Mount Sinai, completing the cardiology and advanced cardiology fellowship (echocardiography and nuclear cardiology).Dr. Ghodsi has been involved in research. She has investigated healthcare access issues for women, specifically for cardiac devices and has conducted studies on atherosclerosis. Her research has been funded by the National Institute of Health.

Dr. Ghodsi speaks Spanish, French, Farsi and Italian.
