Assistant Professor, Hematology and Medical Oncology

Dr. Sofya Pintova is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Pintova’s interests include treatment and the development of new therapies for gastrointestinal malignancies including colorectal, pancreatobiliary, esophageal, gastric and neuroendocrine tumors.

She obtained her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical Center and completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She obtained her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Mount Sinai Hospital.
